About the Position
We expect our Housekeeping Supervisor and staff to oversee and ensure that our Lifestyle Center guests have a clean, orderly, and comfortable living environment in which to recover their health while partaking in one or more of our regularly scheduled health sessions. We have found that by extending the ministry of hospitality to those in need, many opportunities are opened up to share the gospel of health and wholeness and to lead individuals into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
What you will be doing
- Laundering: sorting and folding of linens for guest rooms and treatment rooms
- Cleaning bathrooms in the Lifestyle Center, including guest bathrooms
- Change bedding and towels on a weekly basis
- Ensure trash is taken out
- Vacuum lobby rugs, living room rugs, all entry rugs, as well as carpets in guest rooms, lifestyle center offices, and the chapel
- Dust, sweep and mop treatment area halls, guest wing halls, entry hall, living room, doctor’s wing, lecture rooms, storage rooms, classrooms, conference rooms, library, guest laundry room, and exam rooms
- Maintain clean drinking fountains and glass of all entry doors
- Clean gift shop once per session
- Restock shelves and refill supply bottles in housekeeping closet
- Change light bulbs when needed
- Keep storage room organized
- Distribute tasks, instruct trainees, and supervise their performance to a satisfactory standard of service
- Inspect guest rooms at the end of each session which the Lifestyle Counselors have cleaned

Special Demands
There are certain duties recommended for male housekeepers: Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, climb ladders to clean fans, lights, or change light bulbs. There may be the risk of back problems if heavier objects are not managed properly.
