Professional Observer - Uchee Pines

Professional Observer Program

Deal with the root causes of sickness and disease. Help people change their lives.

Testimony

“I was sitting at my desk thinking, ‘There has got to be something more fulfilling in medicine than this.’ I had worked in the ER, the ICU, functioned as a hospitalist, worked in urgent care, and covered a primary care clinic; and yet I had become disillusioned by the constant round of complaint diagnosis prescription, complaint diagnosis prescription. I had traversed medical school so that I could make a difference in the lives of my patients, and I now found myself putting Band-Aids on their problems rather than getting to the root of the issue. I kept seeing the same people with the same problems over and over again. I realized that if I was going to make a real change in my patients’ lives, I would need to educate them, motivate them, and work with them to make changes in their lifestyle. To make a long story short, I moved to Uchee Pines to learn how to do just that, and I have been fulfilled ever since. I am now dealing with root causes, helping people change their lives, and my job satisfaction is excellent!”

Experience

What has been known for years in certain circles is now a growing realization for healthcare providers at large: lifestyle change is effective in the treatment of disease—not just its prevention.

Uchee Pines Institute has been involved in health education, lifestyle modification, and the use of simple, natural remedies for over 40 years, and we have seen many diseases slowed, halted, or reversed by the application of these modalities. Our medical staff have gained many insights over those years which they desire to share with you.

To facilitate this desire, Uchee Pines Institute has developed a Professional Observer Program.

Program Includes:

  • Shadowing our licensed medical professionals (MD, NP).
  • Experience in each of the departments of the lifestyle center to gain a well-rounded understanding of the function of a lifestyle center.
  • Experience in the use of simple, natural remedies, including hydrotherapy and massage.
  • Involvement in the evaluation and management of our lifestyle guests.
  • Participation in medical conferences, and more.

Program

Health professionals (and students) who desire to learn more about using lifestyle change and simple, natural remedies in the context of various ailments are encouraged to shadow/assist us as we work with our guests.

We run continuous 17-day residential lifestyle programs at our state-of-the art lifestyle center, located on 200 secluded acres in Alabama, just 2 hours from Atlanta, Georgia. This center gives us the ability to interact with individuals from many countries who are suffering from multiple health conditions. We invite you to join us for a full session, or for any part that you are able to come.

Cost

We will provide your room, your meals, and the education noted above for a recommended donation of $500 for 5 days (Mon-Fri) and $100 for 2 days (Sat-Sun). If you feel so inclined, you are free to donate more. If, however, you are unable to donate this amount, we will work with you accordingly.

We are not offering this program to make money. We are interested in your education, so please come.
